Q. How much can I make per job or per day?
A. Prices can vary from city to city, but it is not unreasonable to expect that one crew can complete two to three homes per day at a price of $300-$600 per home.

Q. What about airflow (CFM)?
A. There is a great deal of confusing and misleading information being circulated as "airflow data." Sometimes the airflow is stated as "free air" or is given without reference to the static pressure (SP). Both ignore the flow restrictions imposed by vacuum hose, filters and other system components.

Other published rates have never been tested or verified using established industry testing protocols. The results are useless performance claims that have no bearing on how the equipment will actually perform under real-world conditions.

Since Meyer has been making vacuum equipment for three generations, we know what it takes to design and build equipment that will provide the optimal balance of airflow and static pressure, a combination necessary for effective duct cleaning. Our sales and engineering staff will be happy to provide you with any performance information you may require.

Q. Do you offer financing?
A. Yes. We have leasing programs available that offer substantial advantages over conventional financing methods; payments are usually 100% deductible. They can be structured to fit your budget and leasing preserves your lines of credit for other needs. As always, consult your financial adviser to determine what type of financing is most appropriate.

Q. Can I do residential and commercial work with the same machine?
A. Yes. Unless you want to carve out a market in high-rise office buildings, the same equipment you use for residential jobs can be applied equally well for commercial projects such as professional suites, strip malls and doctors' offices.

Q. Do you have accessories as well as vacuum equipment?
A. Yes. We offer all the latest technology and accessories currently available to the professional air duct cleaner from air compressors, air whips and brushing systems to video inspection systems.

Q. How do I choose between different types of equipment?
A. Cost and personal preference have a lot to do with it. Give some thought to how you will transport the equipment. For example, do you want to dedicate a truck to this operation? Do you want everything to fit inside a van you already own? Do you have preferences between electric and gasoline powered units or trailer vs. truck-mounted units?

Meyer experts will be glad to discuss and review your options; remember, we make all kinds of equipment so we have no axe to grind for one approach over another. Our advice will be based on your preferences and your specific needs.
